RIKON's 18" bandsaws offer a step up from their 14" counterparts. Their larger ripping widths and increased power mean they can handle the larger-sized lumber, panels and timbers required for carpentry, cabinetmaking and other trades. To match these demands, these saws are constructed of heavier box-style welded steel columns and reinforced frames, and feature machined cast iron tables with T-slots and 6" extruded aluminum rip fences with re-saw bars. Blade adjustment is made easy with rear quick-release tension levers and large blade tension hand wheels. All of RIKON's 18" models feature higher-HP 220V motors that require either a 3- or 4-wire electrical plug that match your receptacle. The 10-370 is RIKON's workhorse and a favorite of professional shops. The powerful 2-1/2HP motor and electronically controlled multiple blade speeds enable this saw to slice through thicker lumber and cut and shape all woods, composites, plastics and metals. Additional features include quick-stop electronic break; dual blade speed ranges (82-328 and 1,312-3,280 ft./min.); rack and pinion table angle and upper guide adjustment; two 4" dust collection ports; and a wider cutting capacity. Rrequires a 220V 3-wire electrical plug and comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
