RIKON's 18" bandsaws offer a step up from their 14" counterparts. Their larger ripping widths and increased power mean they can handle the larger-sized lumber, panels and timbers required for carpentry, cabinetmaking and other trades. To match these demands, these saws are constructed of heavier box-style welded steel columns and reinforced frames, and feature machined cast iron tables with T-slots and 6" extruded aluminum rip fences with re-saw bars. Blade adjustment is made easy with rear quick-release tension levers and large blade tension hand wheels. All of RIKON's 18" models feature higher-HP 220V motors that require either a 3- or 4-wire electrical plug that match your receptacle. The 10-342 is RIKON's entry level 18" saw and features a 2HP TEFC, 7.5 amp motor with a blade speed of 3,280 ft/min. Features include a -10-deg. to 45-deg. table tilt range, tool-less blade guide system, a unique table extension, and a 120V outlet mounted on the back. Reqires 4-wire electrical plug to match your receptacle and comes with a 5-year limited warranty.
