Product Description
The INCRA Miter Slider SE combines the time savings of the original aluminum Miter Slider with the unique performance and feel of the adjustable GlideLOCK miter bar used on INCRA miter gauges. The heavy steel construction of the Miter Slider SE is more rigid than wooden or plastic runners and is not susceptible to changes in humidity or temperature. Miter Slider SE bars are drilled and tapped with two separate bolt patterns. The first consists of four (4) #10-24 holes that are designed to quickly attach the bars to your own custom jigs. These #10 holes are spaced identically to those of the original Miter Slider, making the Miter Slider SE a direct, bolt-on upgrade to jigs and fixtures you may have already constructed using original Miter Sliders. The second bolt pattern features three (3) 1/4"-20 holes evenly spaced along the length of the slider to accept knobs and other fasteners commonly used when building jigs and fixtures. The Miter Slider SE also features long-wearing nylon GlideLOCK adjusting discs that conveniently adjust from the top to provide a precise fit in the miter slot of most table saws, router tables, and band saws, and give the bars smooth, low-friction travel. Finally, the Miter Slot SE includes removable T-slot retaining clips for BOTH ends of the bar to provide superior stability to larger jigs. Compatibility: The Miter Slider SE will fit square-sided miter slots approximately 3/4" wide x 3/8" deep, with or without a 15/16"-wide T-slot at the bottom. The GlideLOCK adjustment works with slots measuring 0.740" to 0.765" in actual width. The Miter Slider SE is not recommended for stationary jigs that must be locked into position within a miter slot. The standard aluminum Miter Slider is the best choice for these applications. Sold individually; order two for jigs that use both miter slots. The IMS2SE is 25.5" long and is equipped with 3 pairs of GlideLOCK disks. An 18" version is available separately.
