Some manufacturers' dado sets leave deep scores in the bottom of the cut because they leave the points of their outside blades as much as 0.20" higher than their chippers. Jesada demand better from their 8" diam., 5/8" bore, Joint Master Dado set. The points of their blades are only 0.005" higher than the chippers, so they leave virtually no unsightly marks. Jesada's set still lets you slice dadoes in hard or soft wood - plywood or composites without tear-out or chipping. The Joint Master also includes the 3/32" Ply-Groove chipper. With this in-between size (the set also includes four 1/8" chippers and one 1/16" chipper) you can adjust the cutting width to give a snug fit to undersized plywood. Set up any cut between 1/4 and 29/32".
