Like many people my age, I received a good general introduction to industrial arts when I was younger. This background was not only from school, but also from my Grandpa Roy. Like many, career and family interests pushed the pursuit of any hobby to the back burner. It wasn't until I became a home owner and inherited some of my Grandpa Roy's tools that I found the need and desire to continue my industrial arts education. I begun to teach myself the skills I needed to perform the tasks I wanted to accomplish. Mostly, my knowledge came through books and later, videos and DVD's. It is difficult for someone with no formal training or a "Grandpa Roy" to learn how to safely and effectively develop the skills needed to do woodworking or home improvements without the experience passed down from others.
It is with this in mind that in 1999 I started a woodworking tool and resource business. I started to sell quality resource material and then added tools that I liked and found useful-- focusing on good value products. The business has grown over the years and we have continued to add other products that are of interest to our customers. Recently, we have begun to add resources for other skill based hobbies such as sewing and gardening.
We enjoy the opportunity to communicate with our customers and always like hearing from you and helping assist you with any questions you may have about our products. Thank you for your support!
